Another for my parents' church, in the party spirit of Independence Day.
I'm not too happy with them; the burger looks messy because I used up old fondant on it, and the hot dog looks drippy because the fondant was too fresh - what to do!
I was going to put tomato on the burger, but couldn't get the color right...
I am quite pleased with the grill marks on the hot dog though.
Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, white canned frosting, mm fondant, sesame seeds.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I actually went to church today, and everyone loved it!
Dad agrees with you: "It's a good thing they're so big, otherwise I'd be afraid someone would pick one up to take a bite!"
(I actually saw them separately in books; just tried to recreate it.)
