My friend Cj and I made cake pops for a cancer event my school hosted.

Chocolate cake, vanilla buttercream, chocolate candy coating, rainbow sprinkles.

Those look yummy, but what in the world is a "cake pop?"

Adorable! I love cake pops. They're useful for every occasion and people love them!

Neat!

Just what's pictured - balls of cake on a stick, similar to a sucker/pop (depending on where you're from). :D

How do you bake a ball of cake? Do you have some odd shaped pan? How does it stay on the stick?

I made a sheet cake, then crumbled it into a bowl with about two cups of buttercream. Shaped into balls, flash freeze (about 15min) then insert sticks and dip/sprinkle/decorate.

Sounds delicious!
